Transport processes along the tubule
Along the tubule, useful substances and most of the water are recycled (reabsorbed) and taken up in the blood again. At the end of the tubule, concentrated urine containing mostly wastes is excreted into the bladder.

There are 2 main systems by which substances can be recycled from the pre-urine: passive transport and active transport.
